I am using JC slash rear rims on mine. Some are using fronts, but I like the slightly narrower stance of the rears running on a tight track.

No. We were talking about the Baja Bug body. It's thinner than a regular body.

Are the blue rear springs lighter or stiffer than the whites?

Also, in a lot of the YouTube vids everyone seems to be running on 1/10 scale hard pack tracks, hence the 50 weight oil and stiffer suspension.

Does anyone run theirs on a loamy medium pack 8th scale vibe track? I can only imagine the oil levels have got to be more like 30-35 weight. Also what springs too. Anyone driving on a track (8th scale) that demands a lighter suspension setup?

Blue springs are softer than whites. I am running on a smooth 1/10 indoor track, so I can't help with the setup.

My avatar, to the left, is a Pro-Line Truth body leftover from a Slash. So I can use that again.

Jamminkrazy, I think you said this before, but in your pix of your red and black SCRT, are those REAR Slash offset rimz?

Yes, they are rear wheels all the way around.

So running the slash rears will give me a more narrow stance and all fronts will give me a wide stance?

Ok I'm gonna go with the 4.5HV

gonna be running a hitec 7965 servo.

Man I can't wait to get it!!!
