Default how do i get a burred screw out

hey guys i have a 1/8nitr buggy and i burred one of my grub screws on the brake linkage, how do i get it out? also it is in there really tight

you have got to some how get a hobby tool ie dremel with a thin cutting wheel and cut a groove so you can use a flat head screwdriver

You could also use a small easy out bit. That's what I do when a dremel wheel won't fit.

Break out the torches!


j/k the dremel with small cutting tool works like a charm, make a small cut and then use your thin tuning screw driver to unscrew it.

you guys really need to get this slut the screw out your head we all have cordless drills at the track easy out that stuff

Default Set screw guys

It's the little set screw that holds the brake arm on. Just drill it out with a small bit and be gentle, you may have to replace the brake cam or whatever it's called if you can't get the setscrew pieces out of the threads.....

I call it a collar. You may have to cut it off and just get new collars. These grub screws are easy to strip out or cross-thread from over tightening or worn out hex drivers.
