whats the difference between those two? people say the one-ways are way better. how are they better performance wise? how can i tell the difference? are there any kits that already some with one-ways? thanks =)

A one-way usually allows the car to carry more speed through the corner. They are harder to drive with, and are not suited to all tracks, but will help most of the time.

Most cars, except single belt cars, have a center and front one-way. Some cars come with just the center, like the Xray and others, like the Yokomo Special come with both.

no, the nrs4 does not have one ways. they are called one ways because they only spin one way. there are two types, center and front. center is on your layshaft to the front one way. the front one way replaces the front diff. they do allow for more speed in turns because they keep everything moving. they do not permit braking well though because the car only brakes with the rear wheels during braking so you would spin out at a high speed to full brakes. this is my experience anyway with my electric car one ways.

NO, I wouldn't exactly say you were stupid.....at least you are 'clever' enough to ask the question. Other 'stupid' people would make up their own theories which are wrong!

Check out the RCCA article below. Its one of the few articles that mag has had which is of some sense!! The only thing I don't entirely agree with is the need for a high grip, high speed flowing track for the one ways to work well. I (and many many others!) drive small tight technical tracks with dual one ways....its all in the finger!!!

hardwired? u mean the wires are soldered directly onto the battery? naw i have some kind of golden plug thingies. i forgot what their called.

sounds more like corally style plugs... or the r-minus plugs... tubes on the pack, and banana-like plugs on the esc....
