What did you expect? The car is pretty much perfect as is. Yokomo have never really changed much car to car. The BD5 series was a prime example, they would only change small minor things.

yep thats one of the reasons why i purchased it

im not one of these "must have" people who have to one a new touring car every year. I was after something quick and well proven.

The blue pics don't show a servo mount ? But the other one does

Guess that's the difference in price point?

Damn... I want the black version!! I hope you can buy an upgrade kit. New chassis, motor mount/pulley, shocks or shock bodies, and steering rack. Looks like the steering arms are longer. Wonder how it feels on the track.

is it just me, or did anyone else notice the spur gear shaft holder missing? or was it just removed for clarity?

also, this pic has aluminium gear diff adjuster/belt tension cam, spec sheet says lightweight (plastic) like original bd7?

They have designed it so its a floating layshaft system
