hey guys i am brand new to this forum. so can some of u ppl help me set up my r/c for drift. i already am pretty good at doing it. i just dont know what to put.

if you mean how to actually make it contimuously drift...
a guy on rcuniverse put pvc over his tyres, it was the normal stuff you normally find in local hardware stores. just make sure that u take along a tyre to fit.

hard compound tires (look into tamiya tires)
adjustable camber links (if you dont have it yet): try 4-5 deg front and 1.5 deg rear (approx numbers, use what works best for you)
adjust motor & gear ratio to have a broad powerband you can work with during a drift.

i love the new yokomo body styles for drift cars, but i dont like their approach in making the car drift by using those tires with plastic inserts.

hey what about things i saw from ebay like the chassis, springs, shocks.and bearings etc. cuz the stuff on ebay is pretty damm cheap

i can say the yokomo tires work real well just use a standard tc rim the offset on the yoke rims make it look like a hooride.on my car i'm running 3deg toe in neg2 camber in the rear .in the front i'm running 4deg negative camber 0 degree toe in.hope this helps.

I find that most of our setup are following the 1/1 scale setup
a lot of front -camber, but do you all know why and for yr info we are all drifting a four wheel drive car not a FR.

The -camber in 1/1 scale is used because the car rolls and they also need to have a fast and light steer to countersteer.
Can any1 who drive tell me how to that without power steering to steer on a 1/1 drift car.

If u all have seen the video you all will know what there is 0 camber on the front and back of the wheel so to have traction to countersteer. Further more we are using PVC pipes to drift and it have limited traction and over car suspension is too stiff for the car to roll so what is the camber for. And camber with PVC pipe will cause uneven wear which is something we dun want.

By the way dun you find that the plastic rims on the wheels wear out very fast.
