Has anyone ran this car in 17.5t stock class yet, how does it go?

Coming from the V4 to the V5 there is a considerable difference.

So far my V4 and V5 are the only cars that have turned 10 laps on our track. Others are coming close at 9 5:06 but just lack the consistency to pull it off.

The V4 is fast and nimble, just needed to be driven with finesse. With the V5 I can charge harder into the turns and pull through with the car staying flatter and planted. Just so much easier to drive.

I feel it has to do with the longer and wider chassis along with the rear diff sitting lower. The new rear geometry helps a lot to.

And one more thing the V5 does better is driving through rough sections of the track. It powers through bumps much smoother whereas the V4 seemed to become unstable and you would need to slow down more.

Damn you! Not what I wanted to hear!!! LOL

I have to sell my current wheeler to get another 410 and scoring a v4 is much easier than the v5, though I have a few cars including my original Andy's Carbon Composite kit i'm going to unload because it's only taking up dust and it would make a sensational addition to any collector's harem.

Thanks for the info.

Yea I believe the next run of production will be available in May. Honestly it is worth the wait.

Didn't the v4 initially come with Universals all around? Pretty sure that was the case initially and now I see the v4 & v5 both include universals for the center driveline only. Should be universals all the way around.

The V4 had the center universals and CVA's to the wheels. I bought the universals to try after the fact to try out but ended up back with CVA's in the end

Why'd u revert if the universals are maintenance free and don't come apart like CVA's?

And do you have the fronts for sale. Do you have the fronts for sale? Lol

What would you recommend as far as a spur gear and pinion for a 7.5 motor?
Thank you

The car just handled better for me with the CVA's. I didn't have the 21* castor blocks when I tried the universal so it they made the car really aggressive. I do still have a set of rear universals if your interested. You can just message me and we can work it out for them.

I'd probably gear it 87/23 to start out and temp as you run it.

I use 22/87 in my v4 with a Tekin Gen 2 7.5 and temps on motor are never over 80deg and has plenty of pace
