Not to be snarky, but they haven't released it yet, the parts aren't widely available if at all, so nobody really knows for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm speculating based on the detailed description, images plus the hop up parts list that has been released.

If in wrong, it won't be by much.

HI, I had the same problem of yours. Please let me know if after you fit the DB-02 bevel gears you had any kind of issue. I am thinking of buying the same DB-02 bevel gears to put in mine. Thanks

The spur gear holder shaft. You need to shim it so it's free spinning with no side to side movement. And repeat on the other areas with small gears. That will fix your gear problem

Will this car take standard sized packs like used in the belt drive touring cars or does it require a special pack due to the tub chassis? Thinking of getting this car for USGT but don't want to be stuck with packs that can't be used in my other cars.

Thank you for the hint. I will try this. Yesterday i went to a local hobbyshop and bought a bevel gears set. Actually i am using a too powerfull motor ( yokomo 3.5t ) on 3s lipo, this is the other reason i was looking for metal gears.

I think 3.5t on 3s is too much for this car but let us know how it goes

3.5t!!

Way too much motor on 2s let alone 3s I expect!

Be interested to hear how you go and how airborne it gets

A 3.5 at 2S is rated at 10k rpm. Can a 3.5 even take 3S?

I've tested it last weekend after the adjustments, the speed is insane!!! I didn't reach the top speed, I was concerned about the narrow street, but once again the plastic bevel gears were smashed lol... by the way, the TB04 is a great car for handling. I've ordered a DB-02 aluminium bevel gears set in order to fix the problem. Later I will post a video.
