These should now be slowly trickling into hobby shops. Ultimate Hobbies has them in stock.

Default Race/Pro Package?

Will the motors be available as a package with all the cranks/needles/pipes etc? (as per brochure)
I do not want to pay repeated shipping if the parts are going to dribble through.

I think some of us will have to wait for the second shipment to get our engines. The guys who pre-ordered the engine will get them first and if they have any left, we'll be able to buy it.

Rick,

How many engines were shipped after the first production run?

Thanks

Interesting. They were delivered Wednesday morning so either they have not put them on the shelf, or they have sold them all.

The parts are shipping later next week.

The unfortunate situation here in the U.S. is that even though these engines have been available for order for several months, we have received very few pre-orders from U.S. customers. Most people here typically do not pre-order items. Instead they wait for them to be "in stock" and then buy them.

Our European office has received more than ten times as many pre-orders as here in the U.S., so we have no choice but to deliver the majority of the first shipment to European customers. Of the engines sold, I have no idea how many are for store inventory and how many have actually been purchased.

If you want to buy an engine, please contact your retailer and place an order or at least express interest to prevent delays in getting one.

Rick,
I am a retailer and have back ordered the motors from the distributor about 2 months ago, but until now I still haven't seen them. I even called them and ask, all they can say is that "Team Orion normally send them the invoice first before the delivery" but that was a week ago.Just want to know WHEN ?customers are getting impatient

Tower gives $20 off for order over $149 so the price is $289 + shipping after discount.

As of 11:15 A.M. PST today, Ultimate Hobbies had 2 WASP REV CRF engines left. $265.00 Have your VISA/MC/DIS card ready, cause they don't take American Expresss.

Sh*t!

This is the relative price of the motor , dont worry youll see this type of price at other places and normally tower is known to be a little high on items such as this at first. They will go down once the demand has gone away at the initial start. Tricky little boogers.

BTW had my engine en route yesterday.
