How's it going Steve? What's the word on this year Reedy sedan race? It seems that the off road race now has a sedan event added to it. Will there still be one in May like usual? If so I heard rumors of them doing a lottery this year. A bunch of us out hear are trying to plan a few races to attend next year and if the Reedy isn't happening or they place this lottery into effect then we'll replace it with another race. You can PM me if you find anything out. Thanks

STLNST,

My guess on it is that it's going to be a lottery base sign up. So I believe the system goes that there will be a certain amount of time to get your entry in, and then they'll pull 150 racer's name out of there. I'm sure they'll notify you within enough time for you to plan for it, but obviously you can't start planning for it now

I see no reason why they won't run it again at Tamiya. The Tamiya staff is very organized and efficient, they put on a great show at a world class facility

Speedtech- Thanks for the reply. I'm still not a fan of the lottery system.

Steve- any update on your venture into the SD Spool making business? I am really hoping that one will become available for the car. I have enjoyed the SD and a spool would be fun to tune with.

Thanks again,

Jeff

neither am I, but a lot of people on the east coast couldn't get their entries mailed in time. If you go snail mail, then yes, you're not going to make it, but if you're serious about attending the race, in my opinion you should use Fed Ex or UPS next day.

Hi Jeff,

We are still working on the CAD drawings. We are doing more than just SD Spools (EVOIII, Barracuda R2...etc.) so we are doing all the drawings at once and then sending it to the manufacture all together.

Hey Steve, which is the best place to post? This thread, or the dedicated Speedtech forum? I ask because I see you've come here lately, but didn't make your way to the Speedtech forum.

Anyway, I was wondering if you had any future plans to carry parts and/or hop ups for the HPI R40, or if you plan to continue selling only the kit itself like you do now?

Also, any word on when you will have the R40 back in Stock?

thanks

I agree. I'm in San Diego and I sent my entry in UPS Red. Southern California only gets this one big TC race a year and now the chance of locals getting in is going to be next to 0 .
