Hiya,
I use a Yokomo S-World which is also a TI can. I do not have the markings on the can, so I use the notches on the endbell.
I'm not sure about setting the motor though, never run offroad.

by the way Alvin,
From what I know is that Reedy uses Yokomo cans but somehow reedy magnets are stronger than that of the Yokomos as you can see from my Reedy Fury. It is still fast even though it is more than 2 years old. Hhehe ........ still reliable

stand up brush recommendations
Going to the Tamiya Nats where the stock class will be using a Tamiya hand out motor that uses standup brushes rather than laydown type. Any recommendations for a high silver content stand up brush? Thanks.

Thanks. Found some 729s at the local shop before I posted this; glad I bought them.

Axiom does not sell direct to people anymore you can only get them at a hobbyshop that stocks them.

Reedy 729 vs 738... Which one is harder?

738 has more silver (4 cell)
729 will last longer and has more carbon (6 cell)
will any mod armature work in any mod motor? i have a Ti arm, will it work in a d4 can?

I have used Peak and Eagle armatures in a Trinity can with no ill effects.
I may be wrong but my theory is that if the armature will fit the can and everything feels OK and the brushes sit on the comm in the right place its worth a try. Listen for abnormal noises and watch for high temperature. I think a Dyno may help as well.
