They work awsome in my 1/10 stuff I actually ran a set of them in my 1/8 buggy they did really well. I think that they might be underrated on the C rating just so he doe'nt have any problems. It's a small company. I have yet to have any problems with the packs.
Balance charge most of the time with a hyperion DUO always at 1C rate

i had a 4s 8000mah lipo from true rc
only used it 2 times then caught fire at the track
charged and balanced with a Triton eq charger.
be careful , i was told to stay with hard pack lipos
there cheap but it cost me a new esc
im going to stick with losi packs
not sure of everyone's experience on them

Did it catch fire trying to charge, or running in the vehicle? 8000mah is a HUGE pack not to have a balance charger on.....

I will start off by saying that i am new to this forum. I just purchased (4) of those 11.1 4000 15c burst batteries thinking i was getting one hell of a deal. I didnt actually pay attention to the c number. None the less I connected (2) together in parallel to make an 11.1 8000mah. (The original setup got hot very fast - and thecar was slower than my 7.4 lipos) My question is did I not also double the c rating when I connected them in parallel since it is equally drawing from both batteries at once?

Example 2 x 7.4 2S 15C 4000mAh batteries.
Series = 14.8v 4000mAh
Parallel = 7.4v 8000mAh

I ordered 6 of the 2s 4000mah 10c packs that you are talking about.

Oh they are only 10c? Isnt that kind of low? I heard for racing should use at least 30c. Whats the difference?

They are 10c / 15c max. After further investigation I have figured out my c rating is doubled by wiring them in parallel. But this is the internet and you get an answer to say whatever you want!
