If it is the new black carpet, I recommend the aluminum chassis and pod plate.

I disagree with the kit front wing, the polycarbonate wings are rubbish and get caught on corners too easily.

Get a Tamiya F104 front wing (J parts)

I would replace the wings .. the front wing isn't legal at some races, and there are some more durable options, Mon-Tech, Tamiya, etc. The rear wing is a bit soft, so if you find spur gear marks on it or if your spur is chewed up, it's because it flexes into the gear if you rollover/crash. Also most people will modify the rear wing so it mounts directly to the back plate (remove the standoffs and cut the wing so it mounts flush). With the Rear Mon-Tech wing you don't have to modify the wing, it will already sit flush.

The car otherwise is pretty durable - I've only broken wings.

Needs:

371290 Universal Body Mount
338586 Shim 5x7x0.5 (widen the car)

Spares:

1 x Bottom Arm

Options:

Mon-Tech Front Wing
Mon-Tech Rear Wing

Enjoy

Side and front springs. I loose them and need to replace at least once a month. I'm not a fan of gluing the side springs on.

32/90 as a starting point. The Reedy has a 12.5 rotor, so you will probably get away with a bigger pinion than a motor with a 12.3 rotor.

Seems like if people are going to switch to 25.5 they should run ROAR approved motors, which is only Team Scream or MOTIV......

I like the Montech front wing, the rear wing, not so much

The stock 15 and 16 both fit. But I think some have gotten one of the Protoform bodies to fit as well.

You body looks horrible John! hehe

So tempted to build one but don't want to dilute f1 into yet another class

For you guys at speedworld,I understand. Most at wsr have 2 f1's so there is at least 6-7 guys who have them built and will run both classes. If my car is as fast as USGT locally, I could always run it with them for giggles.

EA normally has them but the site shows out of stock right now. RCMart is always an option if you don't mind shipping cost and wait time.

Looks like Apex has a few screw kits in stock...
