Yep, you going?

For any of you guys interested, I have a buddy selling a fk05 that is MINT. It ran twice on carpet and once on asphalt. If you are interested, send me a PM and I can give you his info. He's a hard core racer so the car has been well kept and not bashed with.

I reserved a room today just in case, I want to go but I have to see how the finances are going to be. 455 for the room is killing me right now. Other than the room, some tires and 2 bodies I think I have everything else. I just bought 6 new packs in the last 2 months and I have only run a handfull of times. I was piecing it together....455 for room 150 ish for entries ( just a guess) 100 for tires (thats really on the low side) 2 bodies (60) and Im looking at almost 800....and thats not counting the gas to get out there or food while there.

i wanna do all the races this winter, but it looks like i will only be able to make 3...if any. Im thinking about the halloween classic, snowbirds, and the roar nats, which im hoping are at mimis!

Wish I could help Bob, but I have yet to attend either event. I gotta get my buddy Webb to paint up some bodies! (that I hopefully wont destroy in a weekend )

Hope to see you all at these events

I've been to both, no question about it, BIRDS

Cleveland is more money due to the hotel (but you have to fly), not to mention that the birds has alot of fun things within walking distance. Restaurants, arcades, etc. Rather than being snowed in, your in shorts and a T shirt in Feb .

Damn, that's alot of racingfor a retired guy .

If you have to pick, COME TO THE BIRDS. Ruby Tuesday's thatnight is only a fraction of the fun we had in FL last year.

Nothing like sitting track side with a cooler filled with your choice bev. watching 6 cell mod at 3:00am.

theres a nice go cart track in walking distance....be sure to clean your hands before going because they thought we were messing with the carts(because our hands were very dirty) to make 'em go faster ...
