This thing could be the revival of 1/10th nitro racing if it catches on. There's lots of places that don't have off road racing because folks can't get access to a big enough piece of land to make a 1/8th offroad track.

Isn't there already a nitro 1/10 stadium truck? Oh yes, no one drives them because it actually takes skill to drive a 2wd nitro truck.

Although I definitely see a nice truck with potential, I also see a number of (speculative) issues that may prevent this from being "huge". I think if it caught on I would get in line although that 4wd brushless Slash has my eye as well.

2 speed transmission, MT Tires, engine looks like a Revos and is same size, starting system similar to Revo...
More in common with a Revo than a traditional truggy
The Revo is 10th scale, so is this.
No center diff, no starter box.
Pretty simple correlation.

That looks really cool. If I was a potential basher who walked into a hobby shop and they showed me that I would absolutely buy it.

Yes Center diff...NO 2 speed....and im sure they will follow suite with tires for the thing......there's a Flywheel cut out hole on the chassis for a reason.

David I just looked on Losi's site and it says and shows a 2 speed, and the same on Traxxas's site.
You know something the manufacturers sites dont?

and you cant help but notice the 2 speed bell on the car itself. Losi sure rushed the add out the door...Not even production pics of the car.....still prototype parts n all.....im sure it will still be an awesome little truggy in the end.

ALSO another thing i cant say im impressed by......NO Pressure nipple fitting on the pipe......Old school STUFF the line in the pipe......COMMMMMON.

I saw it at the IHobby show a few days ago and it looked really busy......I am not looking forward to working on it, lol.....I had a customer who bought the sportwerks remote start truck and it was nothing but problems. we ended up giving the customer a new truck and throwing away the other truck because the starter was such a pain. I really hope that it is not the same remote start technology as the sportwerks.
The suspension seemed pretty soft for a race truck, but, who knows? They didnt have one available to run at the show when I was there....
we will see....
