The ofna was a copy (and some say better) of the nitro TC3...they are a decent car and would be good for bashing as it is shaft drive esp at that price.

The one thing you want to ask your LHS is if they love them enough to stock parts, esp since it looks like thay are clearancing them out.

With that being said, why buy another brand that you have to mainating a different inventory of parts for?...with over a 100 cars, I learned that lesson in spades. If you are looking for something different, buy another rs4 and set it up as a vintage bodied musclecar with those vintage tires. This way all you parts match, you always have spares, yet you have a completely different style of car.

BTW, I think the HPi engine is way better than that force 12....

It was a poor copy of a ntc3. I think its been out of prodution for 3 years. Seem to remember them breaking the rear arm mounts very easily. Guys that bought them 4-5 years ago didn't keep them very long. The cd-3 was a better car.

CTA4 if you want to find out about these cars go to RCUNIVERSE website and look for the thread ......" Those nasty 1/10 scale cars with big blocks " especially look for the post of Brent Davis because he has had good results draggin the LD-3 & CD-3 with a .21 size motor in them.

I agree with Wizby...I got an CD3 off of Craigs list from a guy. For a great price, but if you are stuck on getting the LD3, Go to www.nitrohouse.com They have em for $159 and still have parts. Brucknerhobbies and Brooklynhobbies also has parts.

The steel gears in the diffs is what made them so special. alot of NTC3 owners bought these diff gears to put in their car so they could mount big block motors to their car.
