Default Do I need to cut down my 1/8 foams?

Hi there,

Picked up a Losi 8ight recently and have purchased some wheels and badlands for bashing purposes. I've tried two different sets of wheels and it appears that the foams are simply too wide. If I remove them I can sit the bead in nicely, with the foams in there is absolutely no way to get it to sit nicely. I can take photos if needed.

Should I be cutting the edges off these proline blue closed cell foams?

Cheers

Matt.

No you need to get dome rubber band or even electrical tape will work in a pinch. Wrap the tire with the foam in so the bead sits tight with tape or rubber bands. Carefully peel back a little gap at a time and use good quality fresh CA. Many prefer the blue bottle picture brand home depot
