Hi guys and girls,

My name is Alex, i am new to this forum and also quite new to the 1:8 scale GP cars.

A little about me..

I have just been racing around my Traxxas 4-Tec for quite some time now trying to get a feel for the hobby, i really enjoy it so i made a new purchase, a Xray RX8 2013 Spec, i have just finished building it and awaiting its start for the first time..

I usually like to go down to the RC track in Whalen, I have already met two extremely knowledgeable individuals, Matthew and Ian, ( If you guys are a part of this forum, thanks again !)

I have been reading that races will soon begin there also a club will be forming, if so, i am in !

I could not find the correct place to post a introduction, if this is the wrong place im sorry

To sum it up, i look forward to meeting everyone at some point, i will appreciate any feed back or advice! C&C welcome !!

Not sure if you have been to Moorebank yet, but plenty of top 8th scale racing there too.

Just a note: I suggest you run an INS box. Not only is it required under IFMAR rules, but it also keeps your filter cleaner.

Hi Alex looks real nice, have attached some links to help you.

You can race as you know 1/8 at Whalan, not sure how many they have racing yet.

Thanks guys !, I appreciate the warm welcome's and I will be moving over the to AUS forum, how ever Daz thanks for the info on the tracks etc much a appreciated ! also to Michael T, the ins box is on the to buy list !
