Thanks for the response. Nope the spur gear and adapter are one piece.

Yokomojo

Check how true the stock spur is. If it has alot of runout it'll rub on the white tensioner pulley.

For those using the red Trinity adapter, you can also use RRP ultra machine spurs. They are 1/3 thinner than stock. If you still hear rubbing check the button head screw that holds the tensioner pulley to the adjuster plate. The washer that we were told to put on before the screw is not really necessary. The head of the button head screw is big enough to hold the bearing in place. Leaving the washer out will give you enough room for the spur to clear the head.

Sydewynder:

Found the problem. Front end was using Associated 4 degree carriers. CVDs are slighly bent and rubbing in inside of carrier - previous owner didn't take out enough material to provide clearance for warped CVD.

Thanks,

Joe

Okay, I know this has been asked, and I even answered the question once with a pic from Mark Dawson's site. Anyway, Mark pulled the pics of his car down so I don't know where to mount this power capicator for the TC2 ESC. Anyone got any pointers?

Thanks,
Jits

Hey Jits - I know you've seen this image before, but here it is again. I mounted it with ShoeGoo to the speed control itself. The ShoeGoo just peals right off when needed, but is stong enough to hold it on. I also put a little dab on the chassis where it touches the ridge.
