Yep I've made some shock towers that fit perfectly. I still have some PM me if you're interested.

I used to use the Tamiya aluminum lowering spring pods on my FK05 when I mounted the TRF shocks on that car. Ran the tires as small as 54.5 mm without any problems.

The other option is to trim 1mm off the bottom of the shock shaft with a dremel and a cutting bit. You would also need to trim 1mm from the ball-cup that attaches the shock to the arm and you should have no problem meeting ride height then.

Don't know what you're on about, the TRF shocks are too short for the FK05, ride height isn't the problem, it's downstop.

Not if you use the XRAY springs, XRAY ball-cups and the XRAY lowered shock towers... I guess that would have been an important part of the explaination.

Tamiya makes a longer bottom shock end, used to come with the kits.
See if you can find someone local that has a tam, they will prob give you 4 as they dont get used anyway.

i tryed the trf shocks on fk05 , you need to use tc3 springs and tc3n shock ends
to be able to get the downstops to work
