Question: I've received a Havoc Pro and was surprised to see that it looks for ALL the world like a GTB with a black heat sink and a clear case. Is the Pro a re-purposed GTB or is their some non-cosmetic difference inside the box? I do see that it has the LiPo cutoff circuitry so it would certainly be a later spec GTB.
Is the Havoc Pro "Spread Spectrum" or did that feature kinda die a quiet death?
Thanks!

It is SS compatible. In our esc service trade-in program, we recently included the Havoc Pro as a possible exchange for customers returning old GTBs.

We are in the process of redesigning our product Trade-In Programs to (hopefully ) make them easier to understand. Comprehensive programs, such as this one, are somewhat tricky to read.
Here's how the motor service program works:
Replace SS Pro (Vel)
~ return motor, and replace for same wind motor 39.00
Exchange SS Pro (Vel) for SS Pro 25.5
~ return motor and replace w/ different wind (39.99 + 5.00) = 44.00
Upgrade SS Pro (Vel) for Ballistic 25.55
~ return motor and upgrade to 25.5 Ballistic (44.00 + 20.00) = 64.00

So what about the old SS motors.... if I send in a SS4300 it would be replaced by SS 10.5 ($49). So could I just change to a SS Pro 25.5 for another $5 ($54) or a Ballistic 25.5 for $74?

Here's the answer to your motor trade-in question:
Our policy states that the customer can send in a #3401 SS4300 and replace for#3425V SS25.5 Pro VTA for $39 + $20 = $59.The Ballistic would be $44 + $20 = $64
(pretty good price )

TRIVIA QUESTION: Novak created one of the first ESC programming software in the R/C industry. What was the name of this product? What year did it ship? What ESC was sold with it as a combo? This is a three-part question. The first person to answer all three questions correctly wins a Ballistic Brushless Motor of his/her choice!

I had Bob, (Bob N ) bring me a switch harness to look at. The "off" position is away from the wires; the orange plastic housing end has the word "OFF" in raised letters.
