Eccentrics?
I am having a difficult time confirming which diff eccentric is which per the instructions. The black and white image in parts sheet is unclear. Looks like a high and low position.
Can anyon post a pic of each and match it to the part numbers?
I would really appreciate it!
Cheers
Jamie

I so far am having good luck with 3M weather strip adhesive. It's yellow. Whatever you decide to use be sure to follow the directions. Scuff the mating surfaces of the pad and plate with 200 grit using a figure 8 motion. Clean the mating surfaces with motor spray or anything else that comes in an aerosol can that evaporates very quickly and has a warning label on it stating that the product in the can will kill you etc. Let the parts air dry. Find something that fits the holes of the plates and pads perfectly (shafts of your rc tools). Stick the pads to there perspective plates, align these assemblies pad face to pad face then stick them in a vise. Use light clamping pressure.
Next morning remove them. Remove the excess adhesive from the out-side edges with an x-acto or roto tool. The holes that the pins run threw; you can use a body reamer from the pad side or visit a local tool house and buy a metric drill bit or ream of the exact size.
MAKE SURE you glue the pads rite side up and be SURE that the pad assemblies "float" on there pins.

There are 8 eccentrics in the X-kit. The stock setup wants you to use four eccentric that are thicker in the bottom referencing the pointer being the top portion. I think it is about half to 1 millimeter thicker. The pointer should be pointing up in the back and pointing down in the front.
Sorry no pics.

Steve Whats up Can not wait to get back out there! Which Gorilla glue?

Use the original Gorilla Glue: http://www.gorillaglue.com/glues.aspx
Use plenty of glue, let the excess glue spill out. Place the plates with pads in a vice overnight. The next day clean up the glue with a hobby knife and sand the pads down a bit with sandpaper.
Another tip: use one teflon and one black pad for more consistent braking throughout a long main.

sohlman,
Please explain your recommendation of one black pad and one Teflon pad and the value of such a configuration. Additionally, would it matter which pad is the Teflon one and which is the black pad?
Thanks,
Roger

Results depend on driving styles. I drive hard on the gas and hard on the brakes. During longer mains, the two teflon (yellows) will heat up and fade a bit. Won't notice anything in a qual. The black pads have good grip and don't overheat, but also don't last as long. The combo works best for me. And it does not matter which pad goes on which plate.

Thanks,
I appreciate the explanation.

Hi Solhman,
Hi, I would like to ask you about raising the height of front upper arm position by 1mm. Can I expect more steering ?
Secondly, If I increase the height of rear upright's shims from 2mm to 3mm. Can I expect more steering too ?
Thanks.
Edit : my problem is understeering off throttle, especially at mid cornering, the car wont turn at tightly.
