Southern highlands round has been postponed I believe until after their new drivers stand is built.

Entries are open http://www.nswclubseries.com/meetingentry/enter.php

We will be putting entries that exceed the club initial allocations as hidden until everyone has had the week to enter

Cheers

Hi All!

I entered yesterday for both 2 & 4 stock but only made the list for 2wd. Did I miss the cut for 4wd or did I have an entry blunder?

Regards, Nathan Gibson

See entry above from NOFX.

Entry numbers for each club are restricted for 1st 7 days to allow each club to get some members on the entry list. Then entries are open. Maybe your club has already met the max number of entries at this point at least in 2wd stock?

So, to ensure a spot in the series we should join the club with the least amount of members? If a member of a large club, you might not even get to race at your home round! Is that a desirable outcome? If so enter me against whatever club has a vacant spot.

At this stage I think we will be able to accommodate everyone who has entered.
I cannot make any promises until all of the entries are in, but rest assured we will do every thing we possibly can to allow everyone to race.

Perhaps time to limit to single entries?

I personally think the current format is excellent.
The fact that we have received 126 entries within 2 days shows how popular this event is.

Unfortunately what ever the format is you can't keep everyone happy.

Single entries perhaps not a bad idea. Or maybe go back to the days when clubs had to select the team they would field?

Shield and Cup anyone?

Joining a popular club should not reduce your chance to enter the series. You will end up with a membership arbitrage, where you're best served by joining a small Club.
But if you think it excellent, then let members of affected clubs enter for 3 days (thus eliminating whatever information lag may exist). Then cull the number as required.
