No but it sure gonna look shiny, lol. Ohh ROAR race is the 10th i think its same day as LCRC cash race. Went to roar warm up race last week qua;ified 2nd in nitro switching batteries during 30 minute main killed me, was fun though, gotta get a nitro at some point. Hess was third, can you believe a bunch of on road boys showed up and layed it down , was fun. Dan Ross was TQ in nitro, only a couple of electrics showed but none made the Amain, was alot of good drivers there gonna be more on the 10th.

Thank you goes out to Mike McGhee, and Kyosho Gary. Both of your help this afternoon and evening was greatly appreciated.

Tents are up, track has been corrected in a few spots. Water was delivered. Door prizes are plenty, shirts are here.

Gonna be a great weekend. Altoona Raceway has never had an event of this size or caliber.

Impound table is in, staging area is in.

Just a quick note about pitting. Fill up the front first ( Closest the track ) . Except where the Chicken line will be marked off to the blacktop. From where my car will be parked, over to the fence by the elevation change will be blocked off for spectators. There will also be a spectator area right by the track too. Bring lawn chairs.

The door prizes will be in the 15x15 tent, feel free to go into the tent and check them out. Tickets for the door prizes will be $1.00 a piece. We will draw tickets every so often on both days. ( Every 20 or 30 minutes, for example ). There is alot more than just R/C related stuff.

The porta john, sitting by itself will be for females only please.

Registration will take place at the timing booth on the driver's stand. If you haven't been here yet this year, bring your transponder numbers with you when you register.

Food and drink will be ticket based. We will have tickets for chicken dinners, soda and water. The food tent will collect your tickets for your drinks and Chicken dinner.

Sunday, there will be hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and pretzels in addition to the chicken dinners. Due to the heat predicted for this weekend, condiments will be salt, pepper, ketsup, mustard and onions for the hot dogs and hamburgers. Also, an update on the sides for the chicken dinner, initially was planned for macaroni salad. M-Salad doesn't stay well in high heat. We will be doing your choice of apple sauce or baked beans.
