NEW XRAY T2

T2
I looked at the car last night. What a piece!! The car is second to none! XRAY makes the best products period!! I've got a FK05 which I'm going to keep to run mod. My T2 should be in my hands on Monday. (Thought I was getting it on Friday but it got held up at UPS )

Their is a new spur gear manufactor. Spurs will fit perfectly with zero modifications on both FK05 and the T2 platforms. No enlarging holes. Fits as easy as the XRAY gears. I've been running them for a month with 64 pitch and haven't stripped any gears. Anyone who try's them should be really happy with the quality. They also have titanium screw kits at really good prices.

This car is awesome. Tons of steering and tons of corner speed. Xray really pulled it off with this car.
On a side note. I decided to run a few more laps after my main yesterday. I didn't re-goop my tires and was sliding around. It felt good but, I ended up hitting a board and breaking a front arm. I really don't want to have to purchase a new kit to replace an arm but, if I have to, I will. However, if their are any guys who purchased another kit for parts and want to sell me an arm I will be more than willing to pay for it.
PM me of you are interested.

Yup...the JWerks spur gear fits the T2 perfectly. They are made with super strong Delrin. Similar to the RW gears, but a bit wider and with the right holes for the screws. Machined in Japan, so very limited quantities here in the U.S. www.allspeedhobbies.com or www.victorracing.com have them I think. A lot of us here in NorCal has them in various cars for a while now, great spur, haven't had any problems with it.

There was one at our local track last nite, its an awsome looking car. Anyone that questions the durability of the T2 should have been there lol. The driver that has the car hasnt been racing long, the car was very fast, and he stress tested every board he got close to, and never broke anything, Im not saying they are unbreakable, nothing is, but it no doubt lives up to xrays reputation of building tough cars, btw one of the faster drivers in this area ran some laps with it during practice, it was 3 to 4 tenths faster than his 05 by the third lap he ran ........
