Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I was just looking at the pics of your OP12C off RedRC and was wondering, with the exception of electronics of course, what is needed to assemble this kit? Would it be easy to just buy a donor car (RC12R5) for building this kit?

What else would be needed? What are the steering turnbuckles from? the Body posts?, dampers etc?

Here is a list of parts you will need to complete the kit. If you have had a 12th scale before you might have some or most of it already.

1. Complete 12th rear axle and diff. Recommended IRS2132BK or IRS2136 for CRC and Xceed tires.
2. 12th center shock, AE, Hotbodies, IRS, CRC, Silva
3. ASC6274 ball cups, for damper tubes, steering and shock
4. Ride height adjusters Recommended IRS1167
5. 3mm flat head screws 3x6
6. Servo mounts
7. ASC31284 for top of shock and 1mm shim under ball stud.
8. ASC4635 side links and football
9. ASC4637 link pivot balls (5)
10. Body mounts
11. ASC4686 R5 front end or just plastic parts and camber turnbuckles
12. ACS31280 Short ball stud for bottom center shock mount, and servo saver
13. turnbuckles for steering
14. 3mm low profile nuts
15. Kimbrough Medium servo saver

The turnbuckles and body post in the picture are from Serpent. The tubes come with the kit.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Anymore news on the car's release date Paul? Specifically the conversion of the On point '10 to the '11 version.

Thanks,

Steve C

if one were to prefer IRS rear adjustors and the serpent front end, would it be possible to combine OP300 kit with the OP105 main chassis plate?

Default On-Point 1/12 17.5 Boosted Setup

Here is my setup from the Hurricane series this past weekend. My car was fast and corner speed was very quick (See attachment from Main). In the main I had a fast car but had back luck with dead car in a turn that ended my day. Oh well, we showed the car is good in both Mod and Stock.

Motor:
Thunder Power 17.5 with 1cell rotor
2.60 Roll-Out
20 Degree Motor timing

Tekin:
46 Boost
7 Turbo
Start RPM 781
End RPM 7500

Setup:
Front:
20 Associated springs
.5 Camber
Castor (Small shim in front)
3.5mm Ride Height
Turn Buckles flat and height on spindle and servo saver are equal
10,000 lube on kingpins
Parma Magenta 1.56
167mm Width (Measured at front axle height)

Middle:
Blue Associated Center Spring
Blue Associated Side Springs pre-loaded with 1 turn
Kyosho 15,000 lube on tubes
3.7mm Ride Height

Back:
3.7mm Ride Height
Parma Magenta 1.66
Rear shock spacer 2.5mm under shock mount
172mm Width

The dampner responds faster and allows the car to transition quicker in turns, even going extremely light with the fluid in the mom- shock I could not get the same snap out of the car that I have with the tubes, that said the mono-shock was very easy to drive....just not as fast
