Default 12th scale esc's

Does anyone know if the

SX9 purple esc., works with a Spektrum rec., for 12th scale stock or 19T?

What is the esc of choice for 12th scale stock?

I have been using a GM SX12 for 2 seasons now & it is awesome. Super smooth & super tiny. I had an SX9 awhile back, but had to send it back because the thermal shutdown kept kicking on. I replaced it with the newer SX12 an have never h rad a problem. I don't use Spectrum for 1/12th scale, but I would think as long as you run a cap on the reciever or use a reciever pack you should be good to go.

I have ran the gtx with my spektrum with no problems. If ou decide to go with brushless like the sphere you better put the cap on the receiver.

Any ESC that fits is a great start. I'm running a Tekin G10+ Pro in my cars, and it works great. Yes, it has a bit of a larger footprint, but with Spektrum, needs no caps, diodes or anything else to run clean. That, and the Tekin takes about 3 days less time to program than the Keyence.
