Default Starter Box that fits and AE RC8B well

I need a recommendation for a good starter box that fits the RC8B. I have an OFNA chrome top box that is just plain hard to deal with. I am trying to break in a new motor and its just not working for me.

The OFNA blue box is the best starter box I have seen and used. On 4S Lipo it's a tank.

I am a big fan of the Ofna Truggy Box myself, but the Associated / Thunder Tiger box with a 3s or 4s lipo fits that car very well. It is small and lightweight, and pretty reasonable ($65)

What i like is that the car drops on the rear switch plate and on the RC8 you can set it up so that the pins actually meet up with the holes in the rear arms. It is a pretty solid setup.

If it was any other car, I would say go with the Ofna Truggy Box or the Dual-Motor Dynamite one (basically the same box, but black).

+1 on the Associated box. It's a much simpler design and a monkey could line it up. Everyone's going to tell ya the Ofna box is better though.

I use the Ofna Blue Truggy box on 4s lipo for my RC8B. Very easy to setup and works awesome

+100 Mugen Box. It's worked great for my Kyosho, Mugen and now RC8B. Now with Lipo.
