Hey,
I receive the parts as I was about to leave for Cleveland, so I didn't have the chance to test it locally on a carpet/track I know well.
But I can say that each time I ran the Awesomatix on ours local low grip carpet, I reduce the punch control on my ORCA VX3. When the groove is going up, I am adding punch. But this week-end, the car feel alright from the start and I didn't play (at all) with the punch (who was max out). So this week-end, on the brand new carpet (I was in the first 10 persons to try the track), the feeling of the shaft haven't bothered me at all. When we figure it out how to run on the bump, the car was very easy to drive.
So, bigger shaft ? SD2 ? New carpet ? Tires ? Traction ? I will test it locally this week-end !

It's not spectacular but I surprise myself to not always thinking about my throttle control so that means a lot

New parts were added to the part list on the official website, can someone tell me what they are?
- C01AL-S2: how different is it from previous C01AL-S?? A bit disapointed there is already a new one as the previous one was released not so long ago...
- D2-S damper set
- AM69
- AM70
- AM73-1, AM73-3 and AM73-4
Can we have pictures of these new parts, please?
Thanks,
G-rem

The car is being developed more rapidly than the others and that is disappointing?
I find this logic difficult to understand. You don't have to buy every single part that is available (in order to be competitive) They are called option parts for a reason!

What I find "bad" is the fact this part was released not so long ago and there is already a new one (as it was the case for center braces: AM30 then AM30-1 then AM30-5 and AM33, AM33-1 and AM33-5). I'm not obliged to buy all of them but I think it has to be tested to find it out which one is the best
But I looooove so much this car I can't imagine changing it for another brand, even if it costs me more

C'mon, everybody knows C01AL-S is a must have part for the Evo, of course I bought it and it is actually a great upgrade!

My "personal" opinion is that too many versions of the same part are being released. R&D should filter the proliferation of obsolete part numbers. In Italy sales of Awesomatix have dropped, many modellers are selling their A700... and switching to other brand's. Shops complaint that there is no margine to take in consideration the marketing. As far as i am concerned i will only buy second hand old version of spare parts.

That's why I'm selling mine too.

I would prefer the part be released ASAP if it's a design improvement / fix, even if it's several iterations of the same part. With bigger companies they either ignore the defective part or it takes 1-3 years for them to fix the design issue.
I do admit ..... Almost seems like, we the buyers, are assuming the role as part testers. Guess that's the price you pay for going with a small company with a fairly small racing team.

The same in France
Main reasons: too expensive (arguable, I admit...) and too many parts to try
