I have email notifications for PMs turned on and they are showing up very late, lately. A few weeks ago they were showing up minutes after the PM was written to me. Lately, they have been coming into my inbox, as in sent from RCTech, hours after the PM was written to me. It is up to 9 to 10 hours now.

Another vbulletin forum I'm on had PM notifications get turned off sitewide by some fluke. Is there a delay for PM email notification that was recently turned on?

Nope. Likely it's a delay in your email server.

Unfortunately, given that an email passes through umpteen levels of security/servers/websites between where it's generated and where it arrives at your eyes, email issues are extremely hard to diagnose. Good luck. If this starts happening to a lot of RCTechies, we'll know it's on this end.

Is anyone else having an issue like this? Not quite 9 hours, but definitely a lot longer wait than it was 3 months ago. I use YahooMail.

I've been having this issue. I've had it take an hour to notify me of a PM, etc. Using Gmail.

Mine varies, most of the time it's a minute or two, other times it can take hours. As has been posted! This is NOT a site issue.

I've had them take up to 12 hrs, not anything that we can do, if you are expecting a PM, login and check
