Be sure to check out our own Hobby Show coverage on the front page (www.rctech.net/events/chicago2001/index.shtml) for some more pics of the XXX-S Trinity stuff...

I don't think any of the items are available for sale yet, but I'm sure that some of them will be hitting shelves within the next month or two. There is definitely demand out there...!

the spur adaptor allows you to run any spur....in any pitch.....

Wolverine,

About your post...
"I ran the xxx-s in a race today........ it was slow even geared the same as my TC3........... "

Did you gear it with the same in pinion or ratio. If you just move the motor over with the same pinion you used on the TC3 you're over geared for the XXX-S, wrong FDR. Gear it 2 tooth down from TC3 and you'll be fine. If you're running the same FDR then it could be a weight issue between the two chassis.

Personally, I can't wait to get my XXX-S onto 64 pitch. Mainly because not only do I have a full set of lightweight 64P pinions and a ton of spurs, but I have really felt like I haven't been able to get the optimal ratio with the current gearing and stock motors. I think running mod gives you a little more give either way -- a 12T with a 6.4 or a 6.7 is not going to be a big difference -- but a Green 3 or a MVP can see huge gains/losses in a 3/10 change of the FDR.

I think I just became spoiled with my 64P gears on the Yokomos I have... finding the perfect final drive ratio was half my fun each day...

What gearing do you guys use for the losi. I have the stock spur and I am looking to gear 9 & 10 turn motors. 9 turn orion touring & 10 turn speed gem. I see all the setup's but not really any gearing suggestions. Thanks for any advice.

Default street weapons

I guess I don't seem all that great compared to you guys, but I have a regular street weapon with lots of upgrades(some of them custom). As lame as it seems, my car keeps up with all the TC3's at my track and even beats them once in a while!
We race stock class and I have the fastest stock motor in the club though(a tuned P2k with ball bearings and a few other barely legal things).
Give me some tips about personal hop-ups.

Cool street weapons

I have drilled holes in my chassis to ventillate the motor and batteries and done some custom bumper work.
