Credit to Marc for finishing second in this event with the new car. It started looking a lot better toward the end. High grip is always challenging, especially with a new ride.
This forum is in great need of a sarcasm font.

While I really like my aluminum Centro, the thought of an aluminum chassis sedan sounds like a tweekfest waiting to happen.

It's best if people just use the 'roll eyes' smiley after a comment.

The written word is difficult for sarcasm.

Agreed, the racing was very close all through qualifying and in the finals too. Ronald was still the class of the field but everyone was closer than ever.

Thumbs up for controlled additive as well

Jokes aren't to be serious, but he is dominating the biggest series of the class he races in.

Open Wheel: Seb.
Electric Sedan: Völker.

Worlds is a joke in the grand scheme of things. ETS incorporates both surfaces across several events which is a much better way to determine a true champion.

At the risk of feeding the troll, if every manufacturer had all their drivers who they would send to the worlds at every event, you might have a point.

Otherwise, the world consists of central Europe.

Not really trolling this time, but you make a good point. ETS doesn't draw in all the competitors from around the world, just the fast ones. Okay, that last part was a little bit of trolling.

From my perspective as a spectator, worlds is more about its reputation and prestige than actually showcasing the best technology. What I mean is that it's more about the people than the equipment. And that's okay, it's what makes this hobby feel like a sport. But I really don't know many racers these days that base their buying decisions on the outcome of worlds.

All the new RB6's at my home off-road track beg to differ, but you have a very valid point. They are both big deals in the sedan arena (ETS & Worlds)

Can't compare Off-Road & On-Road series directly

ETS does indeed pack a punch over an entire series
Whereas "The Electric TC On-Road Worlds" is more of a snapshot in time, which doesn't really show the full picture of speed/talent/equipment

Off-road is a totally different game. I'm not sure how much you can glean from the equipment used on high grip dirt. It's a kind of surface that really doesn't exist in the real world.
