Nail on the head !! I really just think not enough people know about the tracks. I also think maybe on speedvision too i feel that would be a target audience.

Speaking of Scotty Ernst, he was one of the ones considered to announce the Race but I spoke to him back in July and he told me prior commitments might get in the way.... Anyone know who will be announcing the Race?! If Scotty can't make it.... Jimmy (Babcock) would be PERFECT for it!

So who is the favorite for this race? I'm thinking probably Cavalieri, but I think we can definately not discount the Japanese drivers. Hara could be in contention mabye?

It is hard to bet against Cavalieri at this point in time. He is the Masami, and Brian Kinwald of his generation in terms of driving talent.

I am am saying right here right now that Mike Truhe is gonna have a great event.

Do you guys think that AE or Losi is going to roll out any new models or updates at this event. The B4 has been around for a while, I wonder if they have any changes planned for it?

Couldn't agree more. But given the bumpy track, don't discount some europeans like Cragg or Hupo (especially in 4wd).

No kidding. ESPN2 had the f'in National Rock Paper Scissors Championship on about a month ago. Are you kidding me? It was obviously backed by Bud light though so I am sure that's where the financing came from. Maybe we can get Red Bull to sponsor some RC events someday. They like the fringe-sports market.

You can't broadcast most r/c action live and expect anything good to come out of it. The format is not useful to live tv. A Tape-delayed edited version could be formatted with commentation and interviews and such, but we all want live so.. the only thing you can do is race longer races with more cars, like the gas guys. then things such as tire status, engine temps, geometry etc can be talked about instead of trying to keep up with the 10 second laps.

this is where that lipo/bl thing comes into play. - well atleast the lipo. now that there is a more dense energy storage method the races can be lengthed into something plyable for (live) broadcast.

I think it's gonna look VERY Similar to the Durango. Since he probably designed it, or just straigh up gave them his design.

Maifield and Fischer have been running the 'normal' B4 and XXX-CR respectively for the past few months.. right up to this past Wed night at SRS getting ready.. I wouldnt think anything new aside from the B44.
