ive seen the ns12p run and i have run the ns21p boath are great engines not as good at the 353 12ct sct and +21 3c or 35+21 and 359. They make great strong power and good rpms perfect for club and every day use and pirfect for some smaller tracks. when you work it out the 353 359 367 novarossi engine packs are some of the best deals for your dollar. People start having probs from not replacing parts and trying to run the engines to lean. You will quickly distroy the new plus nova engines if you get to crazy with the tune. When you think the tune is right ritchen it 1 or 2hours and the engine will be a dream.

Default exhaust pipe .12 size

anyone knows what's the performance difference between the novarossi 51607 pipe (6mm stinger) and the nova efra 2630 pipe (5mm stinger) in terms of fuel efficiency and power (low or top end pipe) ?

also, does a 5 port .12 size engine means better suited to an exhaust(51607) with 6mm stinger and 3 port engine should use a exhaust(efra 2630) with 5mm stinger ? many thanks...

There is a B2000 and a R2000, B stands for buggy and R stands for race.
JP has a tuned version on their website.

There is also a REX version called the R21-B2001

NS12 = machined piston
NSR 12 = microcasted piston.

Thanks Stefan. I'm looking for a crank for the Top motor I tried emailing nov.usa but no response & checked several websites like Ashford, Winners Circle but can't find the crank. I know it's an older motor so parts would be hard to find could you point me in a direction where one could be found. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

I haven't lived in the States for quite a while now, but I'd try nitrohouse.com or kamikaze hobbies (he hangs out in the JL Red Dot thread)

Hey guys... anyone tried out the NS12TS1 engine??? rc-mushroom.com has it for $150. Is it like the Mugen X-12??? Think running this engine on club racing is a bit outdated?

the N/T/R 21 2000 B is the off road and its 6 port and standard plug
the N/T/R 21 2000 R is a 7 port and i think its either an on road or Rally engine its Turbo plug.

I have a R212000BF they arent easy to find anymore. the 21 R 2000s are really rare and id like to pick one up.

I broke mine in about halfway and the front bearing took a crap and it crankwalked. so i just now put front and rear ceramics from TKO in it. Im going to finish breakin and strap it on an xdyno to see what it makes. I have a extremely modified original N21B 3 port and this thing stock is about the same performance.

The 2000 series is a mystery though, Novarossi acts as if they dont know anything about them.

I found a "cheap" way to fix your old engine:

http://www.modelbouwforum.nl/forums/...ad.php?t=50160

The Basic set does not differ a lot in timings compared with the old high end p/s set so with some grinding I hope I created a nice training/backup engine.
I have not started it yet.....
