The improvements keep coming as Homestead RC Raceway gets ready to host the Super Regional this weekend. The track crew has installed closed circuit tv in the covered pit area. Now racers will have the luxury to view timing and scoring in real time as the racing takes place on the track.

The nice thing is this is not a temporary improvement. This system will stay in place and can be used for future events as well.

They are not sure if it can be finished in time for the Super Regional, but plans are to have closed circuit tv in the hot pits as well.

My son has qualified for the Pitch, Hit and Run so I won't be able to be there until Sunday. Will there be any qualifying on Sunday ??

Qualifying starts at 11:00AM. 4 rounds are scheduled, weather permitting.

Sorry, there is no qualifying scheduled for Sunday. We are at the start of the rainy season and will start the Mains early. We want everyone to complete their full Main and be finished before the chance of the afternoon thunderstorms begin.
