The future cannot get here fast enough for me. I have been waiting for a full-size all-electric car for a long, long time.

Why can't Novak be a pioneer and produce the batteries, motors, and speed controls for full-size cars too.

Is he using a brushless or brushed motor? I'm guessing brushed?

More importantly... was that Lipo ROAR approved?

Definitely brushless...

If I go to college and stay home, I am going to build my own electric car.

If he replaced that 220# driver with 95# Danika Patrick I bet he would be hitting 10's with the 105 poound weight loss.

Maybe some carbon hood and trunk panels chould shave a few hundreds of seconds. I didn't see any Micky Thompsons wrinkle wall tires, I am sure that would give some better launches and make the those batteries pull harder as the tire ballons.

Omar does not make brushless EV controllers. The Zilla is brushed motor only rated for 400V at 2000A. I think I saw too Zilla controllers in the car with two 9" DC motors. Judging the motor size, I would think his motors are rated for 20HP a piece. So that would be around 400 Peak horse power at take off. There are some prototype EV brushless drives out there but not in the hands of the public. Our R/C brushless controllers are really advanced for what they do, just the power is limited to about 1000watts peak.
