Will you run your CGM on carpet or asphalt ?

Anthony
Hey Anthony, how are you doing?

I am planning on running the CGM mostly on asphault, but will have a carpet car as well. I am going to mill off some of the bracing on the asphault car to get some flex out of it.

This is the reason why I can't make the decisiion to go for MiniT or MiniZ monster. It seems that Mini T is really fast and fit for outdoor and MiniZ monster fits to indoor run.

Dan didn't sound like he wanted to tackle the small cells just yet, but I think it would be a very good idea for him to get some new customers.

Just use half throttle when you cant open it up all the way.

some GP racers really want to see a solution about receiver pack draining on digital servos. a high cap and powerful pack could be one of the solution.

i do think 1/18 is an embarassing scale for outdoor. it is sad to see expensive 1/18 toy running at the street instead. i have an HPI mini onroad with full mod but i dont have a chance to run it yet. it is not on my bookshelf !

Yes, I am fine ? Will you go to join snowbird race ??

I have the same concern for CGM as the chassis may be too rigid (as Chris mentioned before) and we need to do some modification before it runs on asphalt.

I dont know if there is very much he can do to a small cell, he should just assemble some rx packs with high capacity cells and sell them as is.

I wont be at Snowbirds, I really wanted to, but Dan didn't hype me up on it until it was too late to sign up.

I run a very ridgid Rayspeed chassis with center brace and double upper deck. I ran it 2 weeks ago on a very low grip surface, and was still able to pull a win in pro stock, I think it is setup more than chassis that matters, but it will make it easier if it has some flex.
