Try Zap-A-Gap thin. It really holds great and is a Royal pain in the jacksee to get off. Just dont get it on your fingers. I did once and have the knife scars to prove it

i am new to rc, here is a thought i dont know if it will work but its just a thought, have your tried using gas? because gas takes darn near anything off for me, such as glue from your hands, so i dont see why it wont take it off of rims. if it does not work, sorry. i just thought this up a second ago. but i have never tried it.
