Angry RC18T

I bought mine friday and put 10 minutes on it Sunday on my driveway without jumps and the pass. rear wheel fell off. I took off all four wheel nuts to inspect the stub axles and I could not remove the Pass. front wheel while the drivers side wheels came off easily. I hope my hobby shop is going to help me get it on the road again. I think they were overtightened at the factory.

Well, the RC18T certainly handles better, which will make it easier to drive.

Both will break if crashed... they seem about even in durability as far as I can tell.

Tabushi... if your daughter is only 5, then slower may be better. The Losi Mini T with the stock motor and 4 AA batteries will be more forgiving. It will not likely hit things as hard and you should spend less time breaking things. However, you get a lot more for your money with the RC18t kit and you could buy a larger spur and smaller pinion to put on it to slow it down a bit. Combine that with a slower motor like a stock Losi 280 sized motor and it should be just about the right speed for a 5 YO and you'll have more stuff to put back in it as she gains skill and can handle the speed.

When she gets really good just put a 7-cell GP1100 battery and a Fantom Mini-Mod in it and she'll start breaking things all over again. :-)

I'm getting an RC18t and plan to let my 2.5 year old sons play with it. I fully expect to be replacing parts if I don't scale the speed back a bit. But since I don't have the motor, spur, small pinion it will be a crash fest at first. It should be a laugh.
