Not to change the subject but, I thought i'd share something important.

The front "castor-blocks" on our d8ts' are plastic and the threaded portion is vonerable to stripping out from the stress of the front hubs, I figured out that the aluminun upgraded "castor-bolcks" from the "HPI HELLFIRE" are identicle and only cost about $23.00 ( Integy brand on EBAY) compared to buying the ones supposedly only for d8ts' which are about $55.00 + . a great way to "bullet proof" your front end.

I know the Traxxas crowd tends to like Integy, but I don't trust them. Go with the Jet parts.

HELLO ?
IT doesnt matter who made it, WHAT DOES MATTER is that its made for an HPI product, which a division of HOTBODIES. Its a part that can and will fail and costs half the price, to pay twice THE PRICE would not make ANY sense.

Could you please supply a link to one of the HPI parts on Ebay, I'd like to take a closer look at it? Thanks!

Hello it does matter who makes it... integy aluminum parts are junk.. but then again ...just a reminder.... integy don't ever say their parts are made of aluminum...they say its an alloy... it is soft and weak... why buy a part that will fail 4 times as fast as another part that will last all season.... that does not make any sense to me... so go ahead and buy it let us know how it holds up for you...

i speak from experience with integy products...

REARS:

http://cgi.ebay.com/HPI-Hellfire-Sil...item20b3785908

FRONTS:

http://cgi.ebay.com/HPI-Hellfire-Sil...item2309e688ae

I have bid on these before and have won them for as little as $12.00 A SET.

FINALLY,
I would like to give a big "thank you" to one of our fellow members who instead of publically blasting me on what appeared to be an error on my part as to my thread, he politely sent me a private message stating his oppinion, i strongly dissagree, having (3) d8ts' myself. I APPLAUD HIM FOR HIS MATURITY.

THANKS, PEAKMAN

I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM, NOT TO THIS HOBBY.
WHEN MINE FAIL, I'LL BE THE ONE TO BLAST THEM PUBLICALLY, NOT TILL THEN.

sorry to tell you this.. but its not the same.... as i said before... integy never claim for their stuff to be aluminum.. where as hot racing does... but go ahead...

but its not the same.. and by the way.. we all have used integy before .. so there is a reason for us stating this.. and on another note.. having your caps lock on suggest that your yelling... or upset...
