Default My first award since Junior High school...

This is the first time I've received an award since I was in Junior High school, about 25 years ago...so I couldn't help that it put a goofy grin on my face. I've been "bumped up" to sportsman (at least on the club level), so I don't know that I can really expect another one in a couple months...I've got some improving to do!

Thanks to Jimmy Babcock and the gang at Hot Rod Hobbies, as well as all the racers I've met who've offered advice and education, every weekend. It's been really fun and makes me wish I'd discovered this hobby ten years ago, when I had disposable income! Also, props to Matthew Hernandez who came in second and was battling it out with me every weekend. Keep it up, kid!

Nice job man! Racing is fun but winning something always makes it a little better! With all your effort you get a little plaque- haha.

Now you will race with some faster guys that will make you an even better driver.

I see they went to plaques instead of trophies.

I love to get a trophy! No matter how high up the alphabet or how big the number, it always feels good!

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!

Any AWARD is better than no award, just ask anyone who didn't get one!!!!!!!!

Start a display area someplace it's only the first one for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope...it was a dude-fest. Still, fun to have something to show my wife...so she could give me a sarcastic "Congratulations, how much did you pay for that?" Hehe

Trophy's and Awards are cool , especially if they come with a Kiss from a Hot Trophy girl.
