thanks for all the advice so far. i am running the new RB 3 port with an odonnell head. the track im running on is somewhat large, so i need some top end but im more concerned with bottom because my engine is only a 3 port...

If you are running the aluminum shoes with the 13t clutch bell you should have plenty of low end.

has anyone successfully got the EB mods pipe to fit in the mbx6, this pipe seems high quality and reasonably priced....

I'm using the JP-3 pipe and header, it sits a little crooked but still works. The 2050 header sets the pipe straighter it seems in the picture, I'll probably try it.
