Looking forward to the GP. Should be a great lead up event prior to the NSW State Titles later in the year.

Sadly it's the weekend before AOC. Rules a few of us out. Would of liked to of had a run before the State Titles.

Still XRS in August for those wanting to have a run before State Titles plus a heap of club days in-between.

The east coast race event calendar is very full so choosing a date that wasn't within a week or two of other events was very difficult.

the xrs round will not help as the motor used in this has nowhere near the kv rating as the r1 and would not help at all

Track time is going to give you more benefit than any amount of gearing changes will.
The times really aren't going to be hugely different my 0.2-0.3 per lap at best.
To say the event will be "NO HELP" in preparing you for the state titles is a little bit naive.

Good to see some early entries. Trucks have been great fun at the track this year so if you've got one I highly recommend bringing it along.

the motors have a 600kv difference in the power which will effect corner speeds etc. the xrs motor well at least mine is only around the 1800kv a lot lower then the r1

It’s still valuable track time which is more important in my view. Learning the layout and getting your car setup
right is of paramount importance. But hey I’m sure you’re competitors won’t mind if you’ve done less laps than they have!

Agreed. Any track time has to be an advantage. Plus if your car is dialled for XRS then it's going to be good for the states

Hello Andrew,
21.5 motors are open. It is not a control motor for the GP.
