No rubber touring? I thought this class was getting some respect with the IIC and now the SnowBirds? Wish there was RTC.

Any way, man that would have been a killer weekend. Maybe I will make a day trip now to check out the track.

Seth,
Whats up. It's David. I feel the same as you wish they had a rubber class.

I have the entries, I haven't really looked at them much either, too early for that. I think the first batch was Team XRay.

I was at CEFX the other day.. the "upper deck" is looking sweet. Josh and his group are doing an awesome job of pulling the place together.

Josh- Will the tire tossing nats be held at the same time?
I want to see you throw a tire across the track, out the door, and drill a poor unsuspecting kid...again!! LOL!!!

Looks like I should be able to make the race... See ya soon.

Hey Guys,

I've been working hard on trying to get everyone some information. Here's what I know:

Motors - Handouts will be Trinity in some sort/form/fashion...lol.. ROAR won't tell me what the handouts will be - They want it to be a secret... Why? I have no clue...

Updates on class counts - No clue. I guess the entries go to ROAR, then over to Doug but I never see them so I am as in the dark as you guys.

Weekend before the event will be the ROAR Region 5 Champs. I have to do the paperwork but it should be an awesome warm-up for the Nats as a ton of people are supposed to be in town early!!

Schedule is as follows:

Monday - Facility is 2pm-9pm for pit set-up and hobby shop use. NO PRACTICE as the new track layout is being built on Monday
Tuesday - 2pm-9pm is Open Practice.
Wednesday - 10am-9pm Open Practice
Thursday - 9am-9pm Open Practice
Friday - 8am-10am Registration/Controlled Practice - 11am 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Saturday - 8am-10am Registration/Controlled Practice - 11am 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday - 8am-9am Controlled Practice - 9:30am Start Triple A-Mains

Here's the link to the entry form!!!

http://cefxraceway.net/page/1dzjq/07...Nationals.html

Also, we've added Diggity Designs as another sponsor for the event!

I think cost for extra motors is going to be $25.00 but don't quote me on that.

Doug - If you will send me a copy of the forms I'll post class count lists and such!!!

Butter - Tire tossing Nats?? Na... I've got that covered - No need to hurt anyone!!...

At the moment - We are finishing some major renovations to the facility. Special thanks to Al Horne and the guys from AMH for building our new drivers stand and pit loft!! The new drivers stand and a 1,600sqft+ addition in only 4 days!! We still have a little work to do painting and finishing things up but we now have room for 150 COMFORTABLE pit spots and we can make more room if need be. We do have a few more things we want to take care of before the Nats (new tire truing area, snack bar, tech center) so as those progress I'll post some info and hopefully pics soon.
