Agreed

There defiantly would have been a short course class if two classes were allowed. A few electric guys that i have talk to said that they would be interested in racing on the sunday if u guys still wanted to run SC ..... just put on 3-4 qualifiers and and one final.

We dont want to kill the SC class at meakin before it even starts !!!

None of them want to come up to a two day event and just run one class with 3x 6 -7 min heats they will be sitting around all day. most of them run 3X classes on a normal club day .

Cheers Aaron

Well unless the Club/Race Director change their minds you won't have to sit around for very long at all given we only have around 24 paid Buggies and 12 or so paid Truggies.

At best it will be 3 heats of Buggy and 2 heats of Truggy, currently you would only need 2 heats for Buggy and 1 for Truggy.

It's a real shame the Masters use to be a awesome event

Cheers

Agreed, with little entries why run over 2 days and no cross entering, If you only want to run short course as a demo, why not run it on 1 day only, I'm sure if you let cross entering and a 1 day for short course you'd almost double the numbers so far, what do you guys have to loose! It won't be money!

So you'd rather push competitors away then buy 3x15$ trophies

With that mentality is why you guys don't have the numbers, very simple.....

Besides, who said someone posting on a open public forum represents the club?

Hi Guys,

Are you sure we need to run over 2 days......... long way of come for 30 mins of racing on Saturday.

A lot of people are struggling to justify the 2 days travelling, when the can get almost the same racing time in a normal club day at Meakin.

Furthermore with the low number of entries and as you are only running 3 rounds of qualfing on Saturday we will be finished by midday.

Why don't you start later on Saturday to help the people that are travelling so we don't have to get up at a sparrow's fart to be there by 8am.

Cheers

Mark

+1 on later start time if nominations are down. 7hours travel is hard on the eyes and the mind.

Hi Guys,

Still only 42 odd paid with 48 nominated on your website.

Has any thought been given yet to a later start for Saturday morning, will you even consider it?

Happy for this to be decided later next week but it would be nice to know if you are even going considering it

Cheers

They also took the working air compressor so we need to buy a new one, along with a new hose (i've got one to donate) and a gun. That black compressor that's in there don't work.
