I fly my F-27 stryker. Soon to have a brushless motor.
My fenced backyard is large enough for my E-Flite Blade CP helicopter.

Yeah, my house is near a large soccer complex which comprises 16 fields which don't get used during the week, so I've plenty of runways! Am looking into the new Precision Aerobatics Mini Katana (which I believe is actually manufactured here in Oz) looks like a very nice model.....I also run a Twister Bell 47 for inddor fun.

I fly also......Have a few electric planes.
GWS Slow Stick....what I learned to fly with. Still going after 3 years....
Hacker Zoom Zoom 3d plane. Probably my most fun plane. Great to just take out and bang the sticks around.
GWS Formosa.....The "serious" aerobatics plane. Fun stuff.
I'm lucky to have a mowed 20 acre field behind my house. Can fly at a moments notice. Very nice. Probably wouldn't be into the planes as much if I had to drive anywhere to fly......

My backyard is 1000 ft deep and if I combine it with two other neighbors its about 1000 ft wide. Nobody minds because they are electic so I fly across all three yards.
I have an Ikarus Belroit III and a Sopwith Pup. They fly slow but still can handle a breeze. Usually I fly at dusk in the summer and drive the bats in the area nuts.
Its is a nice break from R/Cs and most of the flight fields for larger gas power planes are now gone so this gives me my fix and nobody bothers me
