2.2" Spoke rims?

2.2" Spoke rims?
I'm not into racing but just bashing and I'm after a stylish looking rim. The bland disc style is just that, bland. I want to keep the JConcepts tires I have but mount them on some better looking rims than I find via JConcepts. I've found Redcat has some cool looking rims and they advertise them as 2.2 but then also advertise them as 62mm in the rim specification. I'm not looking to modify the tires to MAKE them fit.
Does anyone know of a company selling 2.2" spoke rims for a 2WD buggy? Is that too generic of a question? I have JConcepts Double Dee's and Rips up front that I want to mount on some spoke rims.
Thanks, if you can help

JConcepts made Rulux wheels for buggies back in the day. You might be able to find someone with a few still in stock. Don't know if they'd fit your buggy properly, though. Another option that isn't spoked, but is a little less bland than the regular dish wheels are DE Racing Borregos. They come in several colors, have beadlock details molded in, and can have contrasting colored wheel dots applied to them. I would avoid the Redcat wheels, personally.

Thanks smrakocy. I actually called JConcepts and asked about the Rulux and they said they were not 12mm hex (What I need). I am staying away from Redcat from the apparent mis-representation of the size alone. Too scared to get a rim that won't fit the tires I have. I'll check out the Borregos now, thanks again.

No problem! If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

HPI makes some. Whether the offset is right or not I can't say.

I ordered some and they fit my JConcepts 2.2" 1/10 2WD buggy tires perfect.

Good find. Didn't even think about the vintage Kyosho re-release parts. You going to be ok with running bearing fronts, though?

I didn't know the front weren't hex until, I already mounted my tires. Boo. Trying to find a way to get them on the front. I removed the hex nut but I can't tighten the wheels down, not enough room inside the wheel for the tool.

What buggy are you trying to mount these on?

Ok, I think I have a solution that might work for you. I think you should be able to mount Team Associated B4.1 steering blocks and axles in the Helion caster blocks with a little bit of massaging and the right spacers. The parts I would think you would need are as follows (links just included for ease of use, you can find these parts at Tower or other sites as well):
https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-as...-asc9581/p2443
https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-as...sc9612/p182840
https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-as...-asc4187/p2786
https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-as...-asc3977/p7978 (or equivalent, you will need 4 total bearings and these are a different size than whats on your Criterion)
Instructions for how this would piece together can be found in the B4.1 instruction manual (https://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/c...-preflight.pdf) starting on page 4. If you need more clarification, just let me know and I can try to explain it better.

smrakocy, that's awesome, thanks a ton. It does appear that setup should work. Looks like the caster blocks are identical. Obviously I'm not holding them in my hands size to size but, we'll see.
I'm going to order them and try it out. I'll for sure let you know how it turns out.
It will be a couple weeks, daughter is having surgery next Tuesday.

I have a Losi TEN SCBE that I want to get some decent bashing yet better looking wheels for. Looks are important to me. I also want to find something that will make the ride height taller. Taller tire?
Are rims all MFG specific? or can I just look for a 2.2 tire and assume it will fit on my 2.2 rims?
