the panther ones are not bad or the boca ones.... i cannot remember what sizes the 8 ones are but you can get 10 for the other cars for $10...

i bought a set of ceramic from boca in feb ran them all year. clean and lubed them after every event. they were like 36$ for 4 bearings but well worth it. just make sure you keep the bearing clean and lube but not too much beacuse you dont want any lube on the shoes or clutchbell that will create a lot of slipping and this heat. check your clutch bell if it looks discolorred because of excessive heat then something might not be set right.

well i need a new clutch bell now because when i was messin around after the main my cluch messed up big time. my composite shoe material like all went to the rear of the shoe and pushed my cb foward because my front bearing had discenigrated and thus ruining the teeth on my cb and the cb started to go into the tank. So now i gotta get a whole new clutch AGAIN because of the bearings and also a new cb and a tank
EDIT: before this tho my cb was fine, no discoloration, no teeth messed up, no nothin other then the bearings we failing. i didnt lube the outside of the bearings or anythin.idk if i was supposed to but neither did my lhs

also check your collet.. they can where out... if it is slipping it would case excess heat and kill your bearings also.

Clutch Bearings
I change my clutch bearings often also. At $1 a piece you cant afford not to. My routine is i will put a new set just before the A-main then ill run them same bearings the next week for practice and the quals then change them again before the A. Seems to work fairly well for me anyway.

advantage racing bearings are the best bearings I have ran since I started racing. I change my clutch bearings out just because they might fail. I can run 4 race weekends before I change them.

Avid makes good bearings, and they are also $1.00 a pop. Just order $20.00 worth and you'll never lose a tank or bell again. Change weekly, and changing before your main or last qualifier is a good idea.

Get some ceramics
Get the TKO clutch bearings and conical washers. I've used the same set for 4 races and they're like new still.
