Interested to see thoughts and opinions on this vehicle. I'll be looking for next year for a 1/8 buggy and this is one I am very interested in, though, if AE comes with a buggy, will have to look hard at that as well.

im seriously lookin at gettin the 8ight..or X-ray..the main reason i would take a 8ight over the x-ray is because of the parts supply..and its built here in the USA...how well do you think it will do on a medium to long track..

It seemed to do pretty well at the Nats (TQ all 4 rounds of qualifying) and that track was so big they could hardly see their cars!

I was just looking through the parts pricelist in my kit and was blown away at the cost of clutch shoes ($24.99 for comps and $29.99 for alus in bags of 4) that means $55 the first time you need a clutch rebuild? I see a boom in clutch sales in Werks Racing's future. Oh, a new chassis plate goes for $124 so don't run the thing anywhere with rocks or abrasive dirt. I'm lucky here in the midwest. The dirt at most tracks here is very easy on stuff. THe rest of the parts costs seem to be a bargain and the quality of the kit is tops.

I just got one today. I'm not sure if i should post the price though cause it might tick off some retailers and some consumers. And my LHS has sold all three they got this week.

Ok... I can't help it. four hundred ninety-nine bucks, and ninety five cents. That's right folks. Sweet huh? PM me if you want their #.

The Eight parts are $$$$$ wow.... pair of front arms... $14!

The Jammin has front AND rears for $12....

That's the biggest problem I have with the Losi.... hope the car is tough cause the parts will kill you.
