Can HPI D2S do both drift and tour
Im a total noob to the onroad scene. I run brushless 1/8 scale offroad.
I just want a decent something to play around in the street with. Want a drift/tour car. The drift 2 sprint looks like it is capable of both, or is it only a drifter? How does it handle with the drift tires...slippery? let me know please thanks

every car can do both as long as you use right tires (mainly). for drifting you need to use hard compound which as you said makes the tires slippery. for on road racing then you need soft tire to gain traction. If you just want to have fun on the street, this car can do, but I believe it can also be a decent touring race car if you know how to tune it. The only problem with Sprint 2 is the parts are not as strong as the cars built for racing, I don't have one but I do check it in hobby shop, the C hub, steering block and suspension arms look weak. It will be good for drifting for sure but for racing you need to either upgrade the parts or avoid hitting something (walls, other cars etc)
