Just came home from IIC last night. Had a great time with friends thete and making new ones. One of the best R/C experiences one can have.
Thankyou to Scotty and all of his crew for their long hours of work. You guys need tons of rest. Glad to spend time wir h you guys. Rich, I hope you enjoy the tidbit.
Special thanks to Paul Lemeiux for all the help with my car. My car was hooked, my driving was my biggest obstacle. Your help helped me win both of my mains. Paul, you rock!
My expenses were under $1000 to go racing (drove from Los Angeles) for a week in a air conditioned ballroom with some of the biggest names in the industry. I spent my money as if I was racing locally. If I don't spend $500 on a dinner after a race, why spend that much for dinner at IIC. My race fees were $275 for 2 classes. My goody bag was worth about $100. My dinner (Monday) and tacos(Tuesday) were worth $35. I say 5 days of track time in AC is a bargain for my fees.
Note to all you keyboard racers. If you aren't going to race at IIC or post anything postive. Please keep your comments to yourselves.

Huge thanks to Scotty and his crew of volunteers. Such a great event doesn't happen without a lot of sacrifice from a lot of people. Easily the most amazing event so far and it is already on my calendar for next year. If you haven't done this event you can manage the costs pretty well by planning ahead and booking flights early. Of course this is Vegas, so if you want to spend ridiculous amounts money having ridiculous fun that is also an option
If you haven't gone yet, GO NEXT YEAR, if you have gone, well, you know what your missing. But if you do go next year, don't register until I've got my registrations in cause I think it might sell out next year.
